Okay so anyway mommy bought me Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion yay (after trying the samples from DnD) today!

Hairdresser at salon probably didnt know what she was doing and she had long nails so they kept scratching my face, HOW IRRITATING. :/

MY HALL ROOM LOOKS LIKE SOME PARTY with pink and stardust and glitter and more pink and blinking purple lights which illuminate the dark roommmmmmmm :) so awesome! If only rugs came cheaper, our room would be the coolest ever ;)

Yay HSSFOC was nothing less than fun :) and there's D&D next week! Apart from Mr and Ms Hades (Jasper and Anting), I'd also be rooting for Ms Odin SALLY and Ms Hera CANDICE :) I hope one of them wins! Lulu's cousin, Aaron pulled out from pageant as Mr Loki :/ We only realised he was in the same camp AFTER the camp. Would've been crazily awkward if he was my SP ha :/
So hall results'll be out today! Hoping V & I will get the same hall as people we know like Pree, Lys, Sal, and my other OG mates so we don't have to go for hall camp. :) looking forward to school but can't bear to leave work and my family behind in the Northeastern part of the island :( Lulu'll be in the west so it's still fine meeting him...

the rain has stopped WOW! :)
the rain's good for sleeping. but definitely not good for work- i'd worry about daddy cause his job wouldn't be safe in the stormy weather. and mommy will be clumsy when she goes to work! & i hate getting drenched in rain water because it totally ruins my hair & i'd feel sianz.

so anyway i was late for work today thanks to the rain, i had to walk under the shelter which was like 3x the usual distance. omfg freaking lame!
but yeah i had like, 6.5 hours of work & that's it cause i managed to sell all the remaining p'apple tarts & few boxes of cornflake cookies (yes sales for this is so stubborn) so good! :D so the supervisor just let me off early hehehe hope the last two days are like that too ^^
and i tried looking for eileen @ scape but guess what i went to the open area instead of the mall hahha -.- and turns out, i met shawn instead of E at the entrance of taka. haha Im sick to death of taka already seriously. and chinese new year songs. omg. they are even in my dreams omg :/ can't wait for teaching job cause then daddy will stop saying that i won't wake up in the morning! :( & yea i can work with alethea n jermaine :B teeheex.

Guess what!!!!!!!!! I got the beach bag from Accessorize after all! Well BF went down to town with me today ^^ what an angel! He's God-sent really :) hehe and we headed to Taka after lunch at Clarke Quay (Safra Card membership allowed us a free 3-course meal & we ordered a cheese fondue not knowing there was a 30% off it on Saturdays! Lucky or what? :B And cookies n cream milkshake was heaven in a cup!) where I first saw the bag (it was lurking at this TOTALLY insignificant corner of the shop) and IT. Was. behind every 'i'm fine' has its story. when will someone ever speak up and care just a little bit more. it could save a life. every minute someone is crying, committing suicide over relationship issues, getting depressed over body image, dying or struggling at their death beds. life is hard as it already is. loneliness depresses. have you ever observed people when you're out? maybe someone just needs someone to talk to, to have a quick meal with, to have someone even acknowledging their very existence and just that. what if the person you just irresponsibly lashed out at had a bad day at work? i had my very encounter of meeting a bored man who said he saw me as his daughter and gave me solid advice as to what i should do when i start working. wise words from a man who has had 40 years of working experience. most people just shun strangers. i want to embrace difference (not the extremes though, doubt i'm ready for that yet) because behind each man and behind each action has its story and we probably ought to lend a listening ear to let him know that he is not alone afterall, and that there still is hope in living on.

anywayyyyyyy Im obsessed with kevjumba & nigahiga once again they just make tickle me so much (like nice tickle fights yup)
& guess what, sample king came again this afternoon (no surprise) but it made all of us mad when he popped down (again) to settle his dinner there at the square. omfg i really wish he'd suffer from a sore throat so bad that he feels bad freeloading on all that samples for the past two weeks HAHA :B

anyway i had an awesome time spending yesterday off work with my boyfriend :B eating cheap sushi and walking down orchard, life can't get better!!! we ate and stuffed ourselves with good finger food ^^ yay cant wait for work to be over so i can resume life like that.
speaking of which, xh called me the other day (like duh finally) and asked if i could go down to relief teach a class (or two idk,) and i said NO bloodz i totally regret this but hey they asked me in the wee hours (okay like early 6am) & i was too drowsy please :( i would say yes though! i called back & they gave me a weird response Imma totally call back after chinese new year & aleth told me that rosyth called another girl down for relief teaching when i called first ugh omg hate this! but prolly priorities' to those who are alumni :(

Im loving Lit a lot more since I did my paper today. I guess Miss Chew is right. As Lit students, we can't help but feel sensitive to lotsa issues, especially those pertaining to behaviour, attitudes and morals. The way we present ourselves is important yet not superficial. And I will need my dose of 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' after the A levels are over. All these plans make me wanna do it once, well and fearlessly.

Today I realised the true importance of studying history. It was like I had an epiphany. Like Mrs Teng said, you don't study history to point out who was right and who was wrong in a war. No one will ever be 'right' in a war. However, what is more worthy of our concern is the amount of lives lost. The 415,000 men that the UN lost during the Korean War might mean nothing more than just another statistic for us to memorize to inject into some essay. The significance to us might be minute, but to the families of the UN troops, lives were lost, never to be regained no matter how much you weep. To the citizens of Korea, they will be forever grateful to the Americans and soldiers of whatever nationality, who fought bravely not for their own homeland, but someone else's, for the sake of maintaining peace.

Yes Im on Livestrong.com to watch my calories intake, to put on the 2 pounds a week, I needa pump 2600kcal a day, which is like freaking a lot cause normal people need 2000kcal. And yeah it kills me to know how much 2600kcal is but for the sake of not having to press my arm against my chest just so my arm looks fatter, for the sake of not having to twist my legs just so my ankles and thighs look proportionate, I have to do it. It's the June holidays. 2 pounds x 4 = 8 pounds in a month. ISNT A LOT actually ): I'm so desperate now I'd do anything. I started my day with Laksa, which is pathetic cause it's sodium heavy. But honestly, coffeeshop = no calorie-dense healthy food right? Unless I eat like soft boiled eggs and milk. *.* Ah whatever, Ill do my best to never make myself feel hungry for at least a week and I just read articles which help me gain weight in 2 days. I'm so horribly annoyed. was on the bus earlier on with two noisy primary one boys sitting near me. they were snatching stickers from each other and tearing paper up, quarreling and shouting for their mom. and the best part? the mom ignored them. did not even ask them to keep quiet or speak softer. And I was like 'SSHHHHH' and she kinda turned (I don't know if she wanted to ask her kids to keep quiet or if she wanted to stare at me but when I was alighting she kept looking at me) Like WTF you know honestly if today wasn't Mothers' Day I'd just say some sarcastic remarks about her in her presence instead of holding them till I alighted. Honestly it's this generation of people who're complaining about youths today yet it is so ironically them who are bringing the younger generation up and honestly I don't know what the generation before mine wants because people like the mother on the bus is doing nothing even when her children are making fools of themselves (herself too for making her look so useless). I mean yeah I know parents don't have it easy having to juggle their work and family at the same time, much less insensible kids but I guess they just have to know what to do at the right time. I'm really appalled. Major major pet peeve and if this is what you call unique, then I've nothing to say, except that I feel embarrassed. In all honestly, we can do so much better. I mean, moral etiquette? Duh, and my brother was like saying 'it's a public place you can't control people.'

All the more, right. A public place is where everyone shares and is entitled to (at least have some form of peace) and you don't make things difficult for someone else what. Like how people like to laugh and talk in The Study too. Or how some J1 kids said "Wanna study go outside and study lah" when asked to keep quiet. For fucks' sake, it's the fucking Study. We raised funds to build a place with a better studying environment, not for you to have your share of fun and for you to talk back without even thinking of the consequences (haha not much but you just let us know how shallow you really are).

thanks vera for the lovely post, (: & yeah, it's true, ive watched her grow, since the first day she entered school till the day she got her o level results, i was there too :) going through the best days of our lives together, in guzheng, then studied together after school, hung around during guzheng, camwhored, cried over the phone cause of family problems, getting in and outta trouble (not me. hehe) and even falling for the same guy. i guess she's really matured and she's really lucky to be in 2t11, to be surrounded by such wonderful mates in class, it's really hard to & im pretty envious, :)
sometimes changes may get a tad shocking but then again if changing means maturing, would it not be a good thing? it's better than being in wonderland..honestly. and i feel really blessed i dont see myself enjoying night life, drinking, hanging out at night, etc cause it's really not cool. right vera? :D there's of course a difference between doing that perpetually and trying out and i guess i've grown out of that phase and i have umm better things to do! i wanna study hard for common tests (pfffft it's barely 1 week away considering school hours and homework time none of which is equivalent to quality study time REALLY) and yeah im gonna be a turtle, shut out whatever people may say. even if i fail, i know ive tried. i know it's too late to bring about (earth-shatteringly wonderful) changes to my results for the CTs cos of all the lost time, it's also good to know ive made up for it by studying, by crying out of frustration of not understanding economics (I hate it when i dont get some stupid theory right and when i realise 'It's just a theory, for your understanding, there are so many limitations!' Id feel worse than anything else.) instead of lamenting, blaming the lecturer for bad articulation, blaming the teachers for delaying our class time, blaming our cca for stretching too long, blaming everyone else but myself.
but through khattarwong, lit night, orientation2010, ive learnt really a lot of life lessons. i just need to get back on track to find the balance in my life, academic wise. im not perfect but im striving to better myself.

Hi world! Ive been busy the whole week. With school, J1 freshmen's orientation 2010 as an OGL, CCA recruitment drive yesterday, the boyfriend's birthday, so good! :)

School's suffocating and it's not even 1/4 down. Am loving the lessons as much as the teachers. I guess it's the only year I've really NO complaints about any one of them. Okay prolly minus Math lectures but who gives! Im getting all ready and I cant wait for History lectures each week. They are my favourite lectures & I learn a lot from them, thx to Mr Yew! RA's not been in school & I hope everythg's going okay for him :/ ): Missing lessons from him too!!! Ah well time to get ready for celebrations for the boyfriend's birthday with the clique. :)

OGL duties have been fun though there was slight dramatic hiccups yesterday. But honestly, I can't stand people who are hitting 20 yet isolating themselves... but yeah they'd prolly have their story to tell so idk what to do and that is the greatest challenge & I really wanna make things right for them, for them to feel better bout themselves and not let themselves go unnoticed, unheard or even, for that matter, unseen.

Today, spent time at Cathay and PS. Sushi was good. Ill never, in my life, get sick of spicy salmon, ebi, salmon avocado, ikura & salmon belly. How to resist!?!?
And then the boys came! & intended to eat Ben & Jerry's but decided money could be spent better and so went off to PS' Cafe Cartel instead, impromptu decision, but yummmz. Waffle with ice cream & banana w awesome caramel sauce all over. SO GOOD :D
But then my teeth ached luh missed outon salmon skin today, what a pity right :(

Outstanding Results for GCE O Levels 2009

Xinmin is proud to announce that we have achieved laudable results for the GCE O Level exams!

More than 96.6% of our Sec 4 Express pupils qualify for entry to junior colleges. The cohort has done extremely well in comparison to the national average, especially in terms of the quality of the grades. Several subjects have reflected distinctions which range from 20% to 40% above national averages. These subjects include English Language, Higher Chinese Language, Higher Malay Language, Combined Humanities, History, Literature in English, Mathematics D, Additional Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Science (Physics/Chemistry). Of particular note is History where we scored an astounding 100% A1s!

We saw Voon Siew Lian of 402 scoring 10 A1s, doing us exceedingly proud! Hot on her heels are her classmates from 402, Li Jia Yang, Li Zhu, Meng Yue and Nicholas Khaw, all of whom scored 9 A1s each. We also had 9 students with 8 A1s, 9 students with 7 A1s and 17 students who achieved 6 A1s.

Our Secondary 5 Normal (Academic) students also performed creditably, with 20.83% and 80.56% of our Sec 5 NA students who are eligible for entry to junior colleges and polytechnics respectively. Several subjects also fared well against national standards. Tan Yue Li of 501 also did very well to attain an L1B4 of 6.

Student and staff in Xinmin will continue to strive collaboratively to grow from strength to strength in the years ahead!

I went for SMUCO's performance, Melange today. I really enjoyed the performance... and at the same time it made me miss the joy of performing so much. This is something that I can never feel in CJGZ and this is why I have pulled out of the chinese new year performance. I found something on Elvia's blog that really explains how I feel because we have been taught by the same admirable teacher.

i learnt music in an environment which can never tolerate any error or any other nonsense. We'd already be shouted till we cry like babies, pull our ears and elbows straight, knuckles hit with wooden ruler, hand and any part in pain and the list goes on. (http://via-vodkagal.diaryland.com/)

This was how we learnt how to strive for excellence. It is not that I am being arrogant or not understanding when I complain about the standards in CJGZ. They aren't even serious about getting to know it. And because I like chinese music so much, I feel that they degrade it and it kills me inside to feel that way. The worst thing is that I cannot do anything about this.

I don't want people to treat this 21 stringed instrument like a joke because it means so much to me even though I might not be as good as people like Elvia. Do you, the person who does not know music beyond the mainstream english pop, understand this or not? And I guess I am already resigned to the fact that I can never find an ensemble as close to the heart and committed as Xinmin Guzheng Ensemble.

Hello hello :-) Im back from HK already! Can't stand the weather here :( my skin is dry like crap thanks to the dry weather in HK though. win some lose some :(
anyways it was really a pleasant trip, love hanging out with my little babies :D can't wait for CNY cause it's the next time Im seeing them. So thankful they aren't in the US anymore, at least I can hop by HK during a long weekend or something this way :) But then again, the US is nicer, cleaner & deffo a better place to shop at! :(

JANUARY
School started early for the SPs. Held resolutions close & made myself do them faithfully, one of which was to Gain.Weight. Which well, Ive failed (miserably) for the umpteenth time. (N)
Got into a new relationship for a month. Felt really awesome. Felt loved & being able to love someone, the feeling was beyond amazing. Got to know more friends through Drew. Lovely people, :)
Learnt more about Arsenal FC. (Y) Best. Club. Ever :D

FEBRUARY
The new J1s came in, finally. Orientation round II. Sucked like hell. Very glad to have known that Krish & Izza were still my classmates. Was skeptical bout the new kids. Was really worried I would feel left out, or that rumours would affect me (but being rumours, they were definitely untrue and therefore forgot everything and stayed true to myself & my beliefs.) 1A01, taken by Mrs Moraes. Fantastic teacher. Decided to switch CCA to Touch Rugby instead of staying on in Guzheng in SR. :) Got a lil fitter!

MARCH
Ups & downs experienced in relationship. But through these tough times, we grew stronger & healthier & we weren't afraid to voice anything out. "We're more than that" being our favourite line! :D
Drew went M'sia for soccer trip. Things were a lil different. It's the first time he left me :( his roommate? My good friend :D Friedrich Heng :) Got to know Frie & Pree better, they're lovely friends, always there for me in the middle of the night, scolding each other, telling each other off out of love & care for one another. :)

APRIL
My birthday! Had a sweet advanced birthday celebration with Shinna, Yuenny & Shule. Failed surprise but lovely nonetheless, at Botanic Gardens. :) & dinner with the clique at River Valley, good good food :)
Class tests results were sucky as hell, had to buck up for the mid years :(
SYF 2009. XMS & PL both got Gold with Honours, very very happy for Mr Thum & very proud of my juniors. :) SR on the other hand, got Silver. :)

MAY
Didn't study as hard as I was supposed to. Failed Mids. Did as bad as I did last year. Disappointing!
Woke up from the year long slumber and decided to set a target for myself :)

JUNE
Holidays! More trainings. Much fitter! Played quite a bit & before I knew it, holidays were over :'(

JULY
PE sessions were the scariest, Ms Rivera, as usual, being strict & forcing me to run my 2.4k. My class girls are the loveliest. From Pree to Krish, Farah, Sarah, Izza, Andy & even Dorothy, they took turns to run one lap with me till I finished the entire distance :) I failed though, felt bad about it, but really touched as well :)

AUGUST
WILL RUN 2009, walked with Ningrong & Sarah. Found Billy Jean (the cat) & they brought her to SPCA! Heh it was really cute and it's the period when I kinda got over some fear of animals and house pets.
Thanksgiving 2009, teachers put up yet another fantastic performance. 8months into relationship, nothing felt more special than being his girl, :) felt like the most loved & the luckiest one, :D

SEPTEMBER
The race is on. Had to keep mugging and working hard, to get a spot into J2 2010. It was tedious, having bitches around and sarcasm flying everywhere. I made it though :) I remember I felt a strong class spirit on the first day of exams, after Econs paper. I cried after I thought I flunked my essays & Izza, Joel, Daniel, Pree, etc started texting one another, pushing us all on. I cried even more after reading, and at that moment I knew my classmates are a bunch of darlings & not monsters :D
On the last day of my Promos II, I received a really nicely made card by the world's greatest boyf!!!

(Hahaha my boyfriend isn't the one in the card, Izza dont be jealous ah hehe)

Results were out! I passed my papers, every single subject. Have never passed all my subjects before (given that amount of effort, I think the last time was sec1 & O lvls. HAHA) Didn't do fantastically well, but good enough :) Not all my friends passed and I started to get worried :(

OCTOBER
Commendation Day, Graduation Day, Results Day, everything. J2s went on for Study Break, missed B a lot a lot :(
Started to help B with school work, be a more independent girl etc :) things went well.

NOVEMBER
B had A levels, good friends all around me having A levels. And was a main reason for my drifting apart from some close friends. Things got a lil different, but was still manageable...:)
Got accepted by Singapore Academy of Law for JC Law Programme. Got posted to KhattarWong for Job Shadowing programme. Never felt this lucky. Made many new friends there & realised it was never up to us to decide on someone's personality & never to judge anymore. Close friends from KhattarWong, Candice (TJ) was really nice and helpful & generous, allowed us to share our thoughts etc with her cos she was in Criminal Dept.. And Hannah from ACJC, always had a bad impression of ACJC but whoa these thoughts were swept away the moment she got all bimbotic. & Dharl, the warm silly smile everyday, banging into glass panel and falling down the stairs after we say "Be careful!". Haha, got to go to court for the first time. Experience was mind-blowing. I never felt luckier than this :) & Head of Council from TPJC is Lepak King, who'd know right? hahaha and RJ guys are retarded like Amit & JK! :)

DECEMBER
Spent time with B like never before now that he's a free bird :) Went out with the clique almost every week. :)
Fell sick, down with high fever, food poisoning. Had two chalets in a month. Missed the KhattarWong peopleeee, classmates & XMS darlings. Went back to XM, reminisced a lot :)
Met up with V sisters :D
Celebrated Christmas 2009 and first anniversary with Drew :) best feeling ever, :D :D though it was the simplest of dates, simplest of presents, it was with the best boyfriend & i look forward to the next, :D

through this year, ive realised so many things. I realised we can never ever judge a book by its cover (like some revelation thing the girls went thru this morning too.) & I figured yknow, hey so what if people bitch about you, so what if people make things up about you? I guess the most important part is to believe in yourself, have people believing in you & never losing yourself and your principles along the way :) it's the fairest way and just have faith that one day, conscience will bite them real hard, so just be the nice person we have always been, treating people with kindness and fairness :) i admit ive been bitchy to (some) classmates (some do deserve it) but then I realised i only derive the most shallow of joy. it wasn't what i really wanted.
and i realised love is something so special that nothing (almost nothing, really) can ruin it. (: we came up with pacts and promises and im very proud to say we've upheld them from day 1 till now :* i guess when you're with someone for long, you'd have some sort of expectations, coming in many different ways. while some may covet material wealth and luxury, i guess im really simple to just want comfort & love outta all of these. :) it's the happiest way to get well, happy. :)
& i also came to realise that some people may walk the same paths for some time but when we separate paths or cross them, things turn awry, awkward and ugh, bad? retaining for a year has made me feel different when im with different groups of people and i guess it's just the way i felt about myself, having low self-esteem and all. it was quite tough to handle, but i know they're always gonna be there, and that's why i love them so much :)
& then ive like the best V-sisters ever; we can stop contact for months but when we meet up & all, we can still talk freely & comfortably (really:D) and i guess this is really heartwarming....:) like yesterday when i met up with vanessa & vera, i felt so heartened to see vera grow up, to see her having a goal in her life. we've the same goal, that's to get into Law faculty in NUS & then get our LLBs, get into Liti or even better, Criminal Dept. :) And not minding teaching as a career. And the 3 of us all wanting to try being air stewardesses at some point in life, etc :) we're growing up :)
& my boyfriend, for being very supportive, very forgiving & very very sweet. he's sacrificed a lot for me, endured scoldings and lectures from people who love me and didnt think he treasured me. well, he did, really :) and im luckier than he is. he's made me feel very special the past year i dont think anyone else will know how this feels, :D
he's been misunderstood by too many people, yet never complaining about it & that's why i treasure him so much :)
& my parents, they're the best pair in the world. really. they do complain sometimes but i know they really care & they do so much for my brother & i that sometimes i've the urge to go start working to lessen their workload. im not poor, but not rich either. i just feel really awful when i see them working even when they're ill, etc and having to give us extra allowance for our leisure when they've toiled so hard for that :(
& my brother, he's grown up, rebellious, but at least he doesn't resort to fighting or anything indecent, and im glad :) he's a wonderful companion at home & im glad we still talk after every fight :) he still has a lot more to learn though and i hope he'll, after this year :)

Anyways I FOUND OUT WHO MY ECONS TUTOR IS (after asking Mrs Lim a few times despite my exhaustion during the run). (Lucky not the Tans. HAHA sneaky smile every lesson, I don't think I can take it. Bao should know who Im talking about HAHA.) Ok anyways, can't believe I ran another 2.4k today. GOSH CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW MANY CALORIES THAT IS? Not forgetting the side shuffles, sprints, back sprints, ladders, SKIPPING (dammit, a lot too). Had hugeass whipped potato (albeit feeling hungry after that) after training to make up for it (wasn't enough actually but felt good to fill my stomach!) & I really dont wanna know how Mr DT is gonna react to my travel plans for next week. And coach's too. :/ aaah but anyways, Im glad I had the girls today, deffo not cause of the 200m haha. Actually skipping was pretty cool I feel my muscles (thigh, ankle, hamstring, butt!) tensing up (after so long!) so yay :) I feel happy doing academic-related work, THIS IS GOOD. :)

Made my first polyvore set. So bored @night, I know I should've been studying but it's the holiday season & I'm over-excited for HK! guess the time of the month is here. or that i'm really reaching the tipping point. it's like, i get peeved so easily over the littlest things. like how people don't say 'excuse me' and expect me to budge when i obviously do not have eyes on the back of my head (DUH). and how people don't budge when i say 'excuse me'. and how i smile at a salesperson without it being reciprocated (Eh i am not that ugly what.) and girls who slap at least 20 layers of foundation on their faces (which are not matching their skin tone. ultimate, omg) and this should be familiar to many of us- when you pay someone and they return your change by throwing them on the table even when we stretch our hands out waiting for the coins pffft.

and my major pet peeve:
people who don't keep to their left on travellators/escalators. and after i say excuse me they'd gimme the 'wtf' face as if it's my fault for wanting to walk.

I feel so ashamed of myself. I ought to stop spending money like water (I don't already do that but I've gotta curb more than I usually do). It's all my parents' hard earned money (yeah while some may argue that my parents gave me the money. which is also why i dont like shopping with my parents cause i dont like it that they've given us allowance and yet have to pay for our leisure, AGAIN.).. & my bro thinks clubbing with entry of 20bucks is 'cheap what'. It is, once in awhile. But he does it almost every week. SIGH. Can't stand how people spend it once they see the cash. Hello, how bout rainy days? Honestly I wouldn't shed a tear for these people should they suddenly need money for an emergency. I guess..?

Which reminds me, I can't go KW for attachment anymore even if I've the time because I won't get paid. Unless I'm smart enough to get into Law school to pursue my LLB. But what are the chances..? Sighhhh. I'd prolly go work for Nokia for two months (shit job but good pay who gives!) and see if I can teach in secondary schools/primary schools (Best is Rosyth/Bowen/Xms save travelling expenses omg bliss~). Or work in IR. Or something interesting with a good pay.
This means, I need to study hard get good prelim results (because students from other colleges may easily have an edge over us.) & hopefully cafe food gets cheaper (will never be the case though) ah whatever. I can't wait to work. :(

Today started off real badly, poured early in the morning, the best weather to sleep in! And I was really hungry, tired and having a headache from braces so it all adds up to a massive headache. Sucks like that! And then we were split into groups I was in Amazing Race (actually my group kinda waited for me. I don't know, either me or the rain. Haha) and hell it took like 1.5h for them to set us free. Longest 1.5h ever, cause it was like talking talking talking talk. And we didn't even play the games, except for the one at school. Could've just settled everything in school and a map of Hougang instead of having to bring us here and there... Super tired after that and it kinda changed all my plans (cause both people gave me super inaccurate timings as to what time it'd end.) because it was too early for SIR so I headed home & slept till like 20 minutes ago and whooooa now I'm runnin' late cause I didn't get my wake up call. And the worst has yet to come. I've a feeling that it'd be too late by the time I reach the place (Y). Okay this feels so much like Friday the 13th like nothing else's going right!

been bloghopping quite a bit, despite my hectic schedule (okay not exactly, just busy.), and found lotsa girls these days put make up so Generously on their faces, as if they were Geishas, or like they were perpetually dressing up for Halloween omg hahaha. and their eyeliners are like, One Stick On Each Eyelid. anyway this morning was retarded. mommy saw a sale notice in the papers for Kate Spade. I love the colours & designs, very classic and timeless, love them! and whenever people mention the first branded handbag they wanna get is from prada or gucci or louis vutton or somethg, id be thinking, Kate Spade! the sale was not as good as the paris hilton/guess/raoul ones.. pretty disappointing! :( they were not far from the original prices and the pieces were a lil outdated already so, whats the point! save the money for something else :D hm (Im a miser like that but I choose to see myself as a thriftttt!)

But I had my own share of fun, (though I really wanted to be with those crazy lil people.)

Anyway, my job-shadowing programme & JCLP by SAL has officially ended. & I AM SO SAD & DISAPPOINTED. It could have been longer, no? :(
Forged many new friendships & Im so glad I signed up for this. & I feel so blessed to have been assigned to KhattarWong cos nothing.beats.the.people.there (as compared to the other firms). the 39 of them, all so lovely. :D & from this, I went for my first court hearing, first Preliminary Inquiry session (which is prolly gonna be removed cos it's just a formality.) & so many firsts. And the Supreme Court's Bistro serves really awesome macarons & salmon quiche! ;)

& prom was amazing with the company. My table was simply owning! HAHA Shawn Liu & (cant rmb who) won lucky draw prizes & out of 3 categories of special prizes, we clinched em all (OKAY NOT ME but LW, Ely & Fee!) :D was really surrounded by the most gorgeous girls :D

Today was, unbelievably (not a hyperbole) awesome.
went to UOB Plaza for our job-shadowing programme. it's such a cool place i love the CBD area really hahaha (i know i'll choke on these words in future but for now, i'll just leave it with this!).
gee, KhattarWong is huge, like 2.5 storeys please. Got into corporate and everyone else got different departments. 40 of us and some were gone for like damn long so we mingled for quite a while in the conference room & we're going to supreme court again tomorrow (finally without getting chased out!) hehe, :D i gotta get my gp right and the more they talk about the criteria and stuff, the more we (the njcks) feel motivated to do well. hmmmmm:D
super tired, just did some work and it's really minute stuff and it totally drained my energy. or prolly cos im too lazy. hope i see my mentor tomorrow or i hope we stay in court for an entire day yay im so lovin' this! sherilyn's damn lucky, went to cricket club & all that stuff. hahaha seriously! and sarahs got some litigation work to do. okay this is beyond awesomeness, really. :D i feel so lucky!

was really unproductive cause half the time we were gossiping and stuff. Yeow had like 14 essays but decided to make it 6 anyway cause he skipped the entire of Econs away. So yeah I'm done with like 3 essays (: hard work from a week ago till yesterday which is BAD! but i enjoyed their company anyway and there's no pressure just yet despite the fact that the j2s are going thru A's right now. Which simply means it's gonna be 365+/- days away from ours. Mmmhmm sounds sweet :/
after yeow left, we went on to kobayashi. i had more meat less noodles meals for the past two days & am really proud of myself! beef the entire of today, AWESOME OR WHAT. just wish that meat's cheaper. i'd grow fatter anyway, :D
right, pree & i were talking bout really random stuff, usual girls talk and we realised that we see friends the same way-
the best of friends are those who are there even if you've gone MIA for a year or so, those whom you know will still be there no matter what you do (esp. those who understand how you have to ps them for your boyfriend! haha) like how you know that person's personality is flawed yet you would still be there for her. and im glad ive these sorta friends, the awesome sort :) (and they're all taking A's. tmd D:)
